My areas of interest are mainly Side Channel Attack, Post-Quantum Cryptography and Symmetric Key Cryptography.
I am a student with a background in Mathematics who wants to apply mathematical knowledge in a practical field. During my master's degree in Mathematics, I came to know about Cryptology and the extensive application of Algebra and Number Theory in this special topic. My interest grew gradually, and then I pursued M.Tech. in Cryptology and Security from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
I completed my master's thesis, which was a part of the curriculum in the 4th semester of the M.Tech. degree. The topic of the thesis was "SCA Resistant Implementation of Post-Quantum Scheme: CRYSTALS - Kyber". For that purpose, I have visited KU Leuven, Belgium, where Dr. Ingrid Verbauwhede supervised me in the thesis-related work. She was my primary supervisor, and Dr. Bimal Kumar Roy from ISI, Kolkata, was my secondary supervisor.
Currently, I am working at a PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, in the field of Cryptography for the sake of secure communication for the country's Defence.
